How to set up cron job for SocialEngine? What cron job setting shall I use?

I installed SocialEngine on my server, and I want to set up a cron job to trigger SocialEngine's cron job script. What should I do to set up the cron job?

Our webcron service is best for triggering SocialEngine's cron job script. Just follow below simple steps to configure cron job for your SocialEngine:

  1. Open your cron job dashboard, click on " Cron Job" button.
  2. In field "URL to call", fill the "URL to call" field. e.g. http://www.example.com/utility/tasks?key=YOUR_ACCESS_KEY (replace www.example.com with your install location and replace key with your YOUR_ACCESS_KEY). Choose an appropriate cron job execution frequency. Checkout below screenshot:

  3. If necessary, finish the other optional settings.
  4. Click "Create Cron Job" button. You're done! EasyCron will trigger your SocialEngine's cron job script dutifully according to your time setting.
